Family of 4-Year-Old Left in Day Care Vehicle Files Wrongful Death Suit

A mother filed for wrongful death recently against a Miami day care center after her 4-year-old son was left in the center's SUV and died. The incident happened on August 1^st when day care staff had transported several children to an apartment complex. The boy's mother had not been told that children, including her son, would be transported away from the day care's location and did not know why they were taken to an apartment complex. Some suspect that the children were taken to the other location to avoid an inspection of the center that was scheduled to occur that day. It is alleged that the center was over capacity.
