Four-Way Collision Leaves Woman Hospitalized
A car crash on Palm Springs roadways caused a chain reaction that damaged four vehicles, though only person was seriously injured.
The auto accident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 23. According to the report from the officers on the scene, the collision happened at about 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Alejo Road and Sunrise Way, involving four vehicles. One of those involved in the accident eventually had to be taken to the hospital, but everyone else caught up in the incident was able to get away unscathed. Their vehicles, however, were not so lucky. Reporters who arrived on the scene of the accident noticed three of the four vehicles being towed away by clean-up crews after being heavily damaged.
The hospitalized victim was described by the police as being a 29-year old woman. The Palm Springs Battalion Chief is reported as saying that she was taken to the hospital after complaining about leg pain, though no immediately visible injuries were apparent on her person. Like the others involved in the accident she seems to have gotten away without undue trauma.
Police have not commented on the cause of the accident or if any charged have been filed. It is not currently clear if any drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
