Palm Springs Accident Damages Three Cars And Hospitalizes One Victim
Police report that a woman was sent to the hospital on Tuesday when she was involved in an automotive collision with three other cars.
The crash was announced in a press release by law enforcement officers as occurring on Tuesday, March 23, at around 2:45 pm. Details about the crash are sketchy, as officers have declined to comment in depth due to the ongoing investigation, but it is known that four vehicles were involved. The car accident was located at the intersection of Sunrise Way and Alejo Road. Though it is unclear who caused the initial collision, it is known that of the passengers in the four vehicles, only one person received anything more than very minor injuries.
Woman Sent To Local Hospital
Palm Springs Police Battalion Chief Mark Avner reportedly told journalists that the victim was a 29-year old woman, who initially seemed uninjured like the rest of those involved in the crash. She was eventually sent to a hospital when she complained of pain in her leg as a precaution against any unseen injuries she may have incurred.
Though no other injuries were reported, the vehicles were not so lucky. Three of the cars were spotted by reporters on the scene being towed away by a cleanup crew. Palm Springs law enforcement officers were forced to close the intersection down temporarily in order to clear the debris from the site of the wreck, but it was unblocked shortly thereafter.
Police have not commented as to whether alcohol was a factor in the crash, and the investigation continues.
