Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident Not Wearing Helmet

Police have identified 70-year-old Fredrick C. Manske as the motorcycle accident victim who passed away while driving westbound on the Loop 202. Manske was not wearing a helmet.

The Accident

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Manske was thrown off his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he swiped the rear of a 2002 Honda. The traffic in front of Manske had stopped just near milepost one. Manske tried to swerve around the Honda, but he was unable to. He swiped the car, and the collision caused his bike to turn on its right side. The 58-year-old Glendale woman driving the Honda, was wearing her seatbelt. She was uninjured.
