Truck Accident Turns Fatal

A truck accident turned fatal when a man struck a power pole and lost his life last weekend.

Devin A. Steinfort was traveling down Cumberland Road when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled into a power pole. He was later pronounced dead on the scene around 2:45 a.m. His body was discovered when a lineman with Adam Columbia Electric responded to a power outage in that area. 

According to police reports Steinfort's truck crossed the center line, entered a ditch filled with snow, causing it to overturn onto the passenger's side. This is the second fatality crash in Waushara County this year.
