100 Pay Tribute to 18 Year Old Car Accident Victim

In Miramar, FL, more than 100 people paid tribute to two 18-year-olds that died in a car accident in South Florida.  Loved ones paid their respect to the accident victims, Kevin O'connell and Ian guck at the site of the accident.

Commenting on the two victims, an attendee said, "He was loved by everybody that knew him, and he was a mentor to so many young children, as well as Ian.  They were just amazing, amazing young men."

Miramar Police have stated that the incident occurred around 2 a.m.  The vehicle O'connell and Guck were travelling in was heading down Southwest 172^nd Avenue when Guck lost control of the vehicle and then proceeded to cross four lanes of traffic.  The vehicle then collided into the back of a home. 

Rescue crews worked on O'connell at the scene, but he died shortly after the crash.  Guck was airlifted to Memorial Regional hospital where he too later died from his injuries.
