What is a slip and fall? Also known as a trip and fall, it is when someone trips, slips, or falls as a result of dangerous or hazardous conditions on someone else's property. The Center for Disease Control reported that in 2005, 15,800 people over the age of 65 died as a result of fall injuries, while 1.8 million people in this same age bracket were treated in emergency rooms for fall injuries.
