Man Killed in Car Accident

A Freeport, Illinois man has been killed in a car accident after he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve. As a result, Nicholas Block reportedly exited the roadway and his vehicle struck a wooden post, became airborne and began to roll. His car eventually landed on its roof on a railroad track. Soon, the car reportedly started on fire. Block was removed from the vehicle, but had not been wearing a seatbelt. He was later pronounced dead.
