This week, news sources report that American striker Charlie Davies has been included in Sochaux's first team to play against Bordeaux. This announcement came 14 months after Davies' involvement in a near fatal car accident.
Following the serious crash, he was left with two broken bones in his right leg, a broken nose, a broken and dislocated left elbow, bleeding on his brain, a ruptured bladder and a broken for head and eye socket.
After receiving that good news, Davies took to his Twitter account and posted, "I AM IN THE SQUAD FOR TOMORROW'S MATCH VS BORDEAUX!!!"
It was a long, but remarkable recovery for Davies who returned to training with Sochaux just five months after his crash. Despite training vigorously, he missed the World Cup earlier in 2010.
If you have been injured during a car accident that was caused by another person's recklessness, consider discussing your case with a personal injury attorney who can help you get through the legal process.
