Former Student Sues Over "Freeze Tag" Injury

In West Amwell, a former student of South Hunterdon Regional High School has decided to sue the district's Board of Education over a serious injury that she incurred while attending the school over two years ago.

The young lady, Alexandria Nalbone, is reported to have filed her personal injury lawsuit on July 10th in Hunterdon County state Superior Court.  Nalbone is claiming in her lawsuit that she sustained numerous severe bodily injuries while playing freeze tag at the school.  Nalbone says that during the game, she was pushed hard by another student, and that she was pushed into a lawn mower.

The Board of Education is making minimal comments about the injury case, but President Bob Campbell said this past Thursday that he was aware an injury had occurred, but was not aware of the other details involved in the case.  He was unsure of the extent of Nalbone's injuries.

Alexandria Nalbone's attorney, John Gentile, is refusing to comment on the injury lawsuit against the Board of Education.  He is currently working for the law firm of McLaughlin and Cooper, which is based in Trenton.

It is not clear at this time the amount of damages the plaintiff is seeking or why she has decided to file her lawsuit against the Board of Education, but further details are expected to be revealed at a later time.
