Newsman Killed in Long Island Accident Involving Tanker Truck

Police are investigating an accident that occurred in Long Island recently which resulted in the death of a noted news journalist. The 74-year-old award winning newsman was driving his compact two-door car just after 8:00 in the morning near his home on Long Island when the deadly incident happened. He was travelling northbound on the highway when he crashed into a tanker truck carrying propane. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
