Bizarre Deaths

While working on a broken robot, he failed to turn it off completely, resulting in the robot pushing him into a grinding machine with its hydraulic arm. He died as a result."
• Doug McKay (2003). "Doug McKay was killed at the Island County fair amusement park when his arm was caught as he sprayed lubricant on a Super Loop 2 circular roller coaster. The ride was in operation at the time and he was pulled 40 feet in the air before falling and landing on a fence." -Wikipedia
• A male worker died at the Eraso soup factory in Germany after climbing into a soup cauldron in order to clean it. The cauldron's lid shut closed as the man was still inside; it began to fill with steam for the disinfection process and in effect cooked the man to death.
• Diana Durre, of Nebraska. Diana parked her truck under a large 75' Taco Bell sign. She had apparently parked there because she arranged to meet a couple in order to sell them some puppies. She told them, "Meet me underneath the big Taco Bell sign." It happened to be a particularly windy day and as she was parked under the sign, the sign fell on the cab of her truck, killing her.
