Teen Killed during Car Stunt that went Wrong

A 16-year-old girl was killed recently after a car surfing stunt with friends. The girl, A.H., was standing on the hood of a friend's SUV while the driver drove down a roadway. Authorities with the Georgia State Patrol reported that the driver had been speeding while A.H. was standing on the hood of the vehicle. The driver lost control of the SUV and hit an embankment at a high rate of speed. The jolt caused A.H. to go flying off the hood. She suffered critical injuries and died as a result. Reports do not indicate whether or not alcohol or drugs may have been a factor. Officials are continuing to investigate the tragic accident but have turned the case over to the district attorney's office. There has been no word as yet regarding charges against the driver or any others involved.
