Police responded to a recent incident which resulted in the death of one woman and caused serious injuries to three other individuals after a reportedly suicidal woman crashed into another car. Authorities received a call from someone at an apartment complex who stated that a woman at the location was threatening suicide or displaying undescribed suicidal behavior. The woman, 34 years old, was said to have locked herself in her car and then drove away from the location at a high rate of speed. She crashed into another car carrying three people soon afterwards. The 21-year-old driver of the car that was hit suffered severe injuries and died. The two passengers in her car also suffered unspecified non-life threatening injuries. The unnamed suicidal woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries and other care. Authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident and charges are pending against the woman suspected of reckless driving and causing the crash.
