Officers Still Reviewing Fatal Truck Accident

Police are still investigating a truck accident that took the life of one driver last week. Initial reports show that the tractor-trailer operator lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a bridge. A 911 call was placed to the North Carolina Highway Patrol after several vehicles witnessed the accident. The driver apparently lost control of his rig, which hit a bridge, rolled over several times and then caught on fire. At this time, police are not releasing the identity of the driver.
