Police Still Trying to Figure Out Cause of Auto Accident

Police are investigating an auto accident that took the life of an older man. Since no witnesses have come forward with details about the crash, officers have yet to determine what might have caused it.

The accident may have gone undetected for some time since the car had driven well off the roadway and into the woods. A truck driver going by spotted it from his high vantage point and called it in to the police. Once officers located the vehicle they found the 40-year-old male driver dead behind the wheel.

At this time, it is uncertain whether drugs and/or alcohol are to blame. It seems as though the driver lost control of his vehicle, drove off the road and into a tree.
