Seven Vehicle Collision Reported

As if the morning commute isn't bothersome enough, a 7-car collision in South Carolina shut down a major roadway for several hours last week.

According to the local police officers, one woman could be responsible for causing the multi-car accident. All lanes heading eastbound were slowed down for hours as emergency responders brought four victims to area hospitals. The woman that police have detained was last seen walking away from the scene of the collision. However, based on eyewitness testimony, she was taken into custody several days later, and is now being held in jail.

After reviewing her criminal background, officers believe that the same woman may also be connected to an auto theft that took place earlier this year.
