Two People Hit by Minivan

Two people were killed in Anaheim last week when they were hit by a minivan.

According to police reports, the woman and man were walking near an amusement park around 4:10 AM when the minivan appeared out of nowhere. The driver did not have enough time to stop before striking the two. When officers arrived on the scene of the car accident, both victims had passed away.

Although the driver of the minivan and his passenger did stay to speak with police, several others who were in the minivan at the time were witnessed running away from the scene. While the car accident is still under investigation, officers believe that alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident.
