Crash Occurs between Family of Motorcyclists

Several news sources are reporting that one motorcycle rider lost his life last week in California.

Days ago, the California Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a motorcycle accident that involved several members of one family. The responding officers learned that three motorcyclists were riding together - a father, his son and a family friend.

For some reason, the son stopped short, causing the father to slam on his brakes. Even though he avoided hitting his son, he flew off his bike and landed on the pavement, only to be run over by a motorcycle not traveling with the group.

Tragedy struck when the paramedics were unable to revive the father. The accident is still under investigation by officers from the California Highway Patrol.
