Road Shut Down for Truck Accident Investigation

A major roadway in California was shut down for hours as police officers investigated the scene of a fatal truck accident.

Based on evidence gathered at the scene and eyewitness reports, a man driving a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle around 1:30 AM last Friday. He drove off the embankment and rolled down, finally landing on the highway below in oncoming traffic. The truck was struck by two more cars.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 27-year-old male, was declared dead on the scene.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the truck accident.
