Teenager Flown to Hospital Following Flip Over Accident

A teenager in Boulder was flown to Palomar Hospital last weekend when the car he was traveling in flipped over.

According to the Ramona Fire Department in San Diego Country Estates, the SUV was being operated by a 16-year-old driver when he swerved to avoid a rabbit in the road. The car instead ran into a boulder, the impact causing the back of the vehicle to flip up and over, the SUV finally landing on its roof.

When paramedics arrived, the passenger was in and out of consciousness due to an apparent head trauma. The driver escaped with just a few scratches and was soon released to his parents. A passerby witnessed the accident and pulled the passenger out of the car, staying with him until help arrived.

If you have recently been injured in a car accident, now is the time to call a personal injury lawyer who can help you.
