A fatal tractor-trailer crash on I-95 took the lives of two last weekend in New Jersey.
According to Lt. J. Paul Vance, spokesman for the state police, a SUV operated by a drunk driver plowed into the car of a young pregnant woman. The driver, 26-year-old Yadira Torres, has since been charged second-degree manslaughter, in addition to a host of other charges. The victim, 18-year-old Kelly Taborda, was pronounced dead on the scene. Another victim has yet to be positively identified, but is believed to be James A. Sorto, 42; due to the extent of his facial burns, the body still needs to be identified by a family member.
