5 Sent to Hospital After Auto Collision

An early morning crash on Saturday sent five people to area hospitals in New Hope.

According to police reports, a car accident between a Jeep traveling on Spring Forest Road and a car coming from a smaller road, caused the Jeep to flip. It was carrying two adults and three children, all of whom were transported to WakeMed. They are all reported to have sustained just minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle also appeared to have sustained minor, if any, injuries.

Officers are still investigating the details of the event, and have yet to press any charges on either party.
