Watercraft Strikes 20 Foot Vessel

Summer is the season for boating, which inevitably makes it the season for boat accidents as well. Such was the case in Los Angeles County last weekend when a man from Fremont crashed his vessel into a ski boat.

Members of the Coast Guard were called to the scene of the boat accident where the 32-year-old victim crashed his personal watercraft into a 20 foot boat. Witnesses saw the watercraft turn quickly in front of the ski boat, giving the captain no time to steer away from the impending crash. He then jumped into the water to rescue the man on the jetski, only to find him face down in the water.

Although paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, they were unable to revive the man.
