Teenager Identified in 2 Car Accident

The teenager involved in a two-car accident last weekend in Wisconsin has been identified as 17-year-old Lucas D. Stier.

The Wisconsin State Patrol released a report discussing the details of the serious two-car accident. Stier was heading North on Wisconsin 67 in his SUV when he hit a disabled tractor-trailer truck. The truck had pulled off to the side of the road legally and displayed multiple warning triangles, as well as had its flashers on. As a result of the impact, the teen was ejected from his vehicle, causing serious injuries. He was immediately taken to Theda Clark Medical Center by helicopter.

Police have yet to determine whether Stier was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, although they have ruled out alcohol as a contributing factor. Luckily the driver of the second vehicle, 50-year-old Chris C. Nothway, was not injured in the car accident.
