47 Year Old Loses Life in San Diego Motorcycle Accident

When a man lost control of his motorcycle last weekend in San Diego, police officers hoped that his life could be saved.

Although details regarding the motorcycle accident remain scarce, the San Diego Medical Examiner's Office did confirm that the victim, 47-year-old Brian Persson, lost his life as a result of the motorcycle accident.  It appears as though Persson was heading  north on Route 67 when he had difficulty handling a left-turning curve. As a result, the motorcycle struck the pavement, causing "extensive traumatic injuries" that led to Persson's death.

However, officers held out hope for his life when they learned that Persson would be transported to  Sharp Memorial Hospital. While Persson did undergo surgery to save his life, he latter succumbed to his extensive injuries.
