San Diego Police Investigating Fatal Auto Accident

Police in San Diego County are still investigating a fatal car accident that happened last Wednesday in eastern San Diego County.

The accident occurred on eastbound Interstate 8 at Pine Valley Road. It was reported around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday night, prompting officers with the California Highway Patrol to respond. They later reported that a white SUV had lost control, rolled over and ejected the driver and the passenger.

When police arrived at the scene of the car accident they found the female driver dead while the male passenger was taken to a local trauma center by helicopter with massive injuries. At this time police are not releasing additional details regarding this crash.
