Man Causes His Own Death during Auto Accident

A man that caused his own death on the roadway last week will be missed by family and friends. Police are still investigating the crash that killed the man with few witnesses.

According to the police report, the man was driving his SUV on a California highway. For some reason he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the road, grazed a side rail and finished by running straight into a light pole. Although paramedics arrived at the scene just a few minutes later, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for after the holidays to determine if a medical cause could be to blame for the accident. The 49-year-old man was reported to be in good health before the accident.
