French Banker Accused of Sexual Abuse

Those following the case of a French banker were shocked to learn that the judge who provided a fast indictment had decided to dismiss the case.

The banker, who was a strong candidate for the French presidency, was accused of sexual abuse and assault when he was visiting New York City a few months ago. At that time, he was staying in a prestigious hotel where he reportedly attempted to seduce a housekeeper with force.

After reviewing the facts of the case, the judge decided to dismiss it, stating that there was no way to determine whether the encounter between the two had been consensual or criminal.

While some believed that the judge would eventually dismiss the case, it came as a shock to many who were horrified by his actions towards the victim, a 33-year-old Guinea immigrant.
