Driver Crashes Stolen Vehicle into House

When police were called to a home in Artesia last weekend, they were surprised to see the person responsible for the accident. The family called police when they heard a massive crash at the front of their home; at the time, they were sleeping at the rear of the house.

Reports indicate that a young boy had stolen a vehicle and attempted to make a fast getaway, only to wind up driving through the front of the one story home. Luckily, neither the driver nor anyone inside was injured at the time.

The boy attempted to flee the scene of the car accident, but he was picked up just a few blocks away. Since he is a minor, his name will not be released to the press.
