Two Kids Injured during Car Accident

In Durham, an accident sent two children to a local hospital this Thursday evening. According to police, the car accident took place just after 7:00 PM on NC 55, which is near 1-40.

At this time, major details surrounding the collision have not been made public.  The only real information that has been revealed is that the victims are a six-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl.

Both children were taken to Duke Hospital along with their mother, said the children's grandmother.  However, the severity of their injuries remains unknown and it is unclear whether or not charges have been filed.
