Pickup Truck Accident Kills Motorcyclist

This week, the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office said that they found a man dead near the scene of an accident that had involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.  The accident allegedly took place on Friday afternoon near Blackduck.

Police say the Beltrami County Sheriff's 911 Center received two calls at approximately 4:00 PM on Friday reporting a severe accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Alvwood Road, which is located east of Summit Township.

The driver of the motorcycle, 29-year-old Mitchell Ryan Skyberg was found dead at the scene of the collision. Police say the driver of the motor vehicle suffered no injuries.

County Sheriff's Office, Blackduck Police Department, Blackduck Ambulance, Blackduck First Responders and the Blackduck Fire Department all responded to calls about the accident.
