Pro-BMX Biker TJ Lavin Hurt During Accident

Host of MTV's Real World Road Rules Challenge and pro-BMX biker TJ Lavin is in critical condition after attempting a dangerous stunt at the Dew Tour Championships on Thursday. The move, called a "nac nac" jump combination, proved to be too much for Lavin, who was unable to return his feet to the bike's pedals before landing and sustained a shattered right wrist and was knocked unconscious.

Although the biker is slowly starting to show signs of improvement, as evidenced by his mother and team of doctors, he is still heavily sedated and resting to reduce the swelling in his brain. A representative from MTV made a public statement in support of Lavin, saying that their thoughts and prayers were with the young biker.
