Car Accident Kills Superintendent of School District

Interim Superintendent of the Cass Lake-Bena school district Diane Lehse was killed on October 17th when she had a head-on collision with a semi truck. When the Minnesota State Patrol was called to the scene they found that Lehse had been travelling east in the west-bound lane on Highway 34 near the town of Walker.

While police are still unsure of the causes of the accident, they stated that the driver of the semi and a passenger had not suffered from any life-threatening injuries due to the crash. The 66 year old Superintendent of Menahga was brought in to replace a previous superintendent who was facing sexual assault charges and had to leave his post.

Holly Evans, the school board chair, stated that they had been "grateful to have [Lehse's] knowledge and her abilities that she had through the educational system."

When someone is a victim of a car accident, a personal injury lawyer can help obtain the funds necessary to pay for medical bills and other related expenses.
