3 Vehicle Accident Leads to Fatality

A three-vehicle car accident took the life of a North Carolina woman that was trying to signal for help along a Cape Canaveral, Florida road.  The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that the woman, 39-year-old Tammy Chester, was trying to get help for her husband.

According to reports, Chester left the vehicle after her husband began having a seizure.  Soon after exiting the vehicle, Tammy Chest was struck by a vehicle and a third vehicle became involved seconds later.

Jeremy Chester, the 28-year-old husband of the woman, received minor injuries in the 3 car collision and was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.  The other two drivers involved in the crash did not suffer any injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the crash is currently under investigation.
