11 Year Old Killed during Tragic Drunk Driving Accident

In New York, local police officers say that an 11-year-old girl has died in a tragic three car accident that took place in Wellsville.  The accident allegedly took place just before 3:00 PM on Route 417.

Investigators that arrived at the scene say that traffic had to be stopped for a school bus that was letting students off at a nearby stop.  They say that the driver of a truck, 54-year-old Robin Drouin, struck a van from behind.  The van was being operated by Julie Wolfer in the collision caused her vehicle to hit a third car driven by 60-year-old Raymond Cichy. 

During the accident, the 11-year-old girl was seated in the rear of the van and had to be taken to the hospital.  Once she was there, she was later pronounced dead.  Police say the girl's name was Cheyenne E. Wolfer.

Later, Drouin was investigated and police have reason to believe that she was operating under the influence of drugs.
