Woman Dies during Car Accident

In Fairfield County, it is reported that one woman died as a result of an auto accident.  The death occurred on Thursday morning and the victim was 20 year old Haley Gallman.

According the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Gallman ran her vehicle off of Highway 901, just north of Winnsboro, and crashed into a nearby tree.  The coroner told news sources that Gallman passed away due to the injuries she suffered from the accident.

Investigators presiding over the case say that Gallman's Ford Mustang ran off the left side of the road and then the right side at 1:00 AM.  When they found her, she was wearing a seatbelt, but pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Officers say that no one else was in the car and that speed may have played a role in the accident.
