Florida Tour Bus Accident Leads to 2 More Deaths

This week, the Florida Highway Patrol identified two more passengers as being involved in February's tour bus accident. With the addition of the two passengers, the death toll for the accident has been increased to five. The most recent reported victims were Jerrie Leuteritz and Donald M. Nash.
78 year old Leuteritz died on May 5th at Tampa General Hospital and 77 year old Nash died at Seminole Hospital on March 3rd.
The accident occurred when a 2010 Mercury Marquis (driven by 81 year old Betty J. Adams) hit a Sunburst tour bus that was transporting 29 senior citizens. During the collision, the bus overturned and ejected some passengers onto the road.
The three other passengers that died were 80 year old Charles W. Sherman, 78 year old Joan Horsch and 79 year old John Roy. At this time, charges against Adams are pending.
