In Anna, Texas, an aspiring model that is 14 years of age was recently the victim of a horrible dog bite attack. According to reports, the dog attack left the girl with 60 stitches, but police say that the dog never got out of its backyard.
The teen, Schylar Eisensmith, told officers that the attack happened last week while she was walking home with a friend. She said she stopped by a fence because she heard a noise and when she looked to see what it was, a dog came up and bit her face. She insisted that she did not lean over the fence.
Her mother, Shanna Eisensmith, said that her daughter needed 60 stitches after the dog bite and will most likely need plastic surgery.
Police report that the dog, a boxer, is currently being held and observed for 10 days. They say that the boxer's shots are current and that there are no other reports of violence against the dog. Due to the fact that the dog never left its backyard, no criminal charges will be filed against the dog's owner.
