Four Vehicles Invovled in Collision

A car accident in Cathedral City may have involved as many as four vehicles on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 on Monday morning. Members of the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to assist in the cleanup of the multi-vehicle accident after a call came in around 9:30 a.m. reporting the accident.

Officers shut down the slow lane of the highway to provide access for tow trucks and investigators to come to the scene. Drivers at this time were not happy about their morning commute being interrupted. The accident caused a back-up of at least a mile that morning.

At this time investigators have not released any additional information about the car accident, only that there were minor injuries reported for those involved.
