Teenage on Dirt Bike Dies during Accident

In Sterling, Virginia, a 17 year old has been reported dead after a dirt bike accident.  Police say that the accident occurred in Claude Moore Park.

The teenager was riding a 2006 Baja 4970 Dirtrunner and supposedly he did not see the gates at the entrance of the ball fields at the park, which were closed. 

While driving, the teen crashed right into the gates and flew off of his bike.  He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.  Police arrived at the scene and the teenager was rushed to Lansdowne Campus of INOVA Loudoun Hospital.  There, he was pronounced dead.
