Biker Killed After Getting Hit by Cadillac

Police in Tarpon Springs, Florida report that a biker was killed during a major motorcycle accident.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle and the motorcycle hit one another at the intersection between Bryan Lane and East Lake Road.

Officers have since identified that motorcyclist as 36 year old James Barile of Homosassa. 

Investigators say that 77 year old Marilyn Hedger of Trinity was driving a 2010 Cadillac SUV when she crossed paths with Barile.  She was heading south on East Lake Road when the fatal crash took place.

Officers state that Barile died at the scene of the accident and that they plan to continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash at this time.
