A police officer and the driver of a second vehicle were both injured in a traffic accident that occurred recently in North Las Vegas. The officer was alone in his patrol car traveling north on Martin Luther King Blvd through an intersection at the time of the collision. A gray sedan heading east on the intersecting road struck the side of the officer's cruiser. The impact caused the patrol car to veer off into an electrical box located at one of the intersection's corners. Additional police units and the Clark County Fire Department arrived at the accident scene and both drivers were transported to local hospitals. The policeman and the driver of the other vehicle had sustained injuries in the crash but were reported to be non-life threatening. Crash investigators were continuing to look into the T-bone crash to determine how it occurred and who was at fault. Talk to a personal injury lawyer if you were hurt in a car accident that was not your fault.
Seeking Compensation for a Car Accident
If you have been the victim of a vehicle accident then you may be entitled to significant compensation for damages you have suffered. Proving negligence in such cases and obtaining that compensation is not always as simple a matter as one may think. Additionally, your own or the other driver's insurance may give you the runaround when it comes to a claim. Having an attorney on your side can greatly improve your chances of getting a positive outcome in your case. Car crashes can result in severe injuries or death as well as other financial and emotional impacts. A skilled legal professional can help with the entire process from a thorough investigation of the accident to proving who is responsible for your injuries or loss and why. From there it is a matter of ensuring that you receive the compensation you need to fully cover all the fallout from an injury crash.
